July 7, 2007, said to be the luckiest day of the year.. was it? anyways, i would say, somehow.. it was the day we were about to climb Mt. tayak, Rizal, Laguna.
Day 1-
3:00 am
tutut.. tutut.. whoooh.. my head aches! i have been sleeping for just 2 hours, it's 3am on my celfone's clock as it alarmed! uhh.. wait, someone texted me, it was egoy, he was already there? at the meeting place? got to move fast..
after the shower i start to wear my climb getup-- undies, cycling shorts and trek pants! WTF! as i bend down for my shoelace, they all rolled up down! haay.. now i have a hipster!! huhuhu.. i hate being fat!
8:00 am
MANG! AMANG! uhh.. oh! what? malapit na tayo? as i peered my face on the bus' glass window and looked at the signage on the streets, i saw that we were already in San Pablo, i utter MALAPIT NA, a few minutes later the bus conductor shouted, MEDICAL CENTER! and we rushed to get out of the bus, took a jeep to the BAYAN, eat some breakfast at jolibee as we wait for erick, after 20mins he arrived and we go to the terminal that will take us to Rizal, laguna (Rizal elementary school).
10:00 am
GROWL! GROWL! hehehe don't worry, it's just my STOMACH! i already ate pancake why am i starving again? obviously! check your size and weight! aaahh.. back to my being fat again. I saw my mate sitting on the road, took out some biscuits and we ate, we rest for several minutes, we're almost halfway.
10:30 am
GROWL! GROWL! AGAIN??? it's my stomach! but now it's different! WTF! hey madeth can i borrow some tissue?? i got to go! hmp! pasaway!
11:00 am
NGOORRKKSS!!! uhhh... i fell asleep! on the trail, OMG! i hate myself! this is just a 2 hours trek! now it's a big deal for me! where are my mates? i don't see them, i was soo.. left behind.
11:45 am
Lalalalaa.. (singing) the place was nice, plants were planted nicely, sign of a nearby human activity.. finaly, a small chapel suddenly showed on the view and several people sits there, ahh.. it's them, time to take a long rest.
5:30 pm
MANG! nakita namin dun sa campsite, clear naman, dito lang mukhang umuulan lagi, tara dun na tayo mag camp! SO, we all decide to fix our things and head up to the camp site, that was just about 15mins trek, WHOAAH!!! the view was nice! though we are not that highly elevated, you could see several mountains from left, (panning) pico, behind, tarak and natib, then malarayt, malepuno, manabu, behind is maculot, tagaytay, makiling, susong dalaga, talim island and at the back cristobal and hiding behind is banahaw. the wind was heavy and cool, feels good!!

HWAAARRKK! EOWWW!! the taste of a pure Lambanog was not that good, it's my first time to drink one, only because we need something for the cold wind and something to do to fight boredom. thank god we have fruit cocktail, it compensates.

SWOOSSSHHH!! the wind was heavy! the rain starts to fall, it's heavy, i am so worried that the water would leak on my tent since my tarp was borrowed by she.. but thank god it didn't..
DAY 2 Going down
5:30 am
I was awaken by a human activity, can't sleep anymore, i went out and saw how beautiful the vIew was, mist was all over even on the plains, how lucky those people who live there while in manila it's all SMOG!
10:00 am
AY AHAS!! whaat?? snake?? i rushed and saw that it was dead already, i suspect it's a young brown cobra.. the head was badly beaten almost separated in the body.. how sad, but can you blame people living there if their lives we're at stake? how can you balance the existence of the human and animals especially when human starts to invade their territory? just like what happened in nueva ecija, they kill almost all of the cobra snakes for their lives were put into peril, the effect, they were plagued by RATS! simply because they eliminate those who control the rat population and disturb the balance of nature. We all need Balance!!

Mam Elena's house, wooooaaahhhh.. the water was so cold, it awaken your wits and cramp your muscles hehehe.. we had a good bath to a teacher's house we only met yesterday but kind enough to offer assistance and help. after such, she accompany us to her classmate's restaurant, we ordered our preferred lunch, and as we pay for our meal, we have learned that it was already paid by mam elena! we feel embarrassed and tried to pay her, but she insist! i don't know what to think, is this for real? did she had a motive in doing such? why would she spend time, energy and money for a stranger? suddenly i am convinced, good people still are around, and we are lucky to find one! earth angel is real..
